Turn Fred Red

On Friday, February 7th, we wore red to show our support for heart angels, warriors, and their families!

We hopes to draw attention to Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs). These are defined as problems present at birth that affect the structure and function of the heart. CHDs are the most common birth defect in the United States. Nearly one of every 110 babies is born with a CHD.

According to the Children’s Heart Foundation, each year approximately 40,000 babies are born in the United States with a congenital heart defect. This equates to 1 child every 15 minutes.
