Oh Baby!

The Mom Squad of Fredericksburg was thrilled to be part of Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center’s bi-annual community event for expectant mothers!

This free event was an incredible opportunity for parents-to-be to learn about the amazing resources available to them.

Attendees explored everything Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center had to offer, including expectant parenting classes, labor support tools, and their Level 3 NICU. They also had the chance to take a tour of the labor & delivery floor and meet representatives from NICU staff, physical and occupational therapy, imaging, and behavioral health.

Breakout sessions were led by lactation services and the hospital’s team of midwives, providing valuable insights for new parents. In addition to these hospital resources, local community vendors were there to support growing families.

The Mom Squad was excited to be alongside organizations like The Department of Vital Records, Healthy Families, WIC, and Weecycled Wardrobe.

Guests enjoyed refreshments provided by the hospital, and those who pre-registered were entered into a raffle for some great prizes!

This was a fantastic, free event designed to support and educate our community’s expectant families. If you missed it, be sure to stay tuned for the next one—we can’t wait to see you there!
